It's been a hectic few weeks in the world. Nature hit hard with the Christchurch earthquake but we soon fought back with Libya.

Now that Japan has been swamped by a tsunami it looks like it's our turn for the headlines again.

Predictions for the next man-made disaster?

We really are at mercy at the sheer power of the things this planet can do. Earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes etc.

I'm lucky to live in Ireland!

Yes, nature is completely indifferent to us; we are just passsing through.

With the volcano ash cloud, a devastating earthquake and a tsunami obliterating a section of man's most advanced country with 12 months, I think Nature is more than a couple of points in the lead.

The Fukushima plant emergency will probably cause problems although that can be attributed to both man and nature
