    Hi,
I would like to hear from those who have B.A./M.A. in Social Work.
Did many of you find a job in related area?

    :)

I'm finishing the MSW at the moment. If your interested in a career in Social Work don't let the current job situation make your mind up for you. There are jobs out there despite being tough to get but things will pick up eventually. If you have any questions, PM me.

    Hello,

I am going into third year in applied social studies level 7 in september.

I hope to do a masters in social work the following year.

    I have a few questions.
    1. Can i go directly into a masters after my level 7 in social care?
    2. Is their any financial asssistance available to students who wish to do a masters?
    3. If I went abroad to england or wales, would the fees be lower then (6,800 like ireland).
any advise would be very much appreciated.

    regards

    1. No you can't. You need a full degree to do the Masters
    2. You can get get a grant, apply through the usual student grant channels.
    3. Quite possibley.
