I'm not all together sure if there is an Irish version for it. Just like for Hawkins (my mother's surname). There's two possibilities:
    1. Surname is of non-irish origin
    2. Originally had an Irish surname that took on an occupational name.

Ok tks. I was thinking there may not be an equivalent in Irish.
