Dodgy number plates

I have noticed quite a few new 11 reg cars wearing a strange type of number plate , they are made to look like german type plates with dummy TUV stamps on them along with slanted and broken digits . Do these plates register on the anpr Garda cams and the new speed vans? Saw them today on an 11 reg Range Rover sport also…

They are not legal.

Apparently they can be read OK by ANPR systems such as those used by the Gardaí or eflow etc.
