    Hi, I was wondering do all TEFL providers check references before they interview you? I'm hoping to do a TEFL course abroad for a month so are they more likely to check references?

    I think they are more likely to check references AFTER they interview you, but yes, I would imagine that they do check them.

    Bear in mind that TEFL and other teaching interviews can, in part, also be seen as personality tests.

    That's great, thanks for the response! I didn't know that they would be more likely to check after the interview instead of before! Good to know! :)
