32" LCD Advice

I think this is the right forum, if not apologies to the mods. But I'm looking for advice on which 32" LCD I should be looking at. It will primarily be used for current gen gaming/movies, and I'd prefer as many hdmi ports as I can get.

Any advice, some of the LG stuff looks nice but they're all 720p (or does 1080p even matter on a screen that size?) I've no idea..help!

I've been trying to figure that out myself. A lot of tech heads will say yes but they'd say yes to €100 HDMI cables giving you a better picture.

As far as I know many games are in 720 so you'd probably be grand with that.

As for advice? You might wanna check out some threads on Saorview over in the Terrestrial TV forum - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056096032

I'm in the market for a 32" myself at the minute. It's for blu-rays in a small bedroom so I might go for the full monty HD.

Here's your options in Power City anyways - http://powercity.ie/?brands=ALL+BRANDS&pages=1&par=10-12

Most have 2HDMI connections, some have 3. I really struggle to tell differences between TVs when there's a tener here or a score there between them. I think a lot of people go by the "you get what you pay for" implying spending an extra few quid will automatically get you a better set - cause it'd use higher quality parts or smoething. I'm skeptical of this method since being turned on to the great HDMI cable scam.

If I've learned one thing over the years, it's yes, you do get what you pay for...but not always. Cheers for the info & links, I shall check them out :)

Take a look at the 1080p LG here, and the lads @ Richersounds are always handy for advice!

Exactly what I was looking for, plain & simple descriptions - seemingly excellent value too! Cheers
