discrimination at the Aviva Stadium

Why are the public bars within the Aviva statium open to fans prior, during and after a rugby international whereas in they only sell soft drinks to fans during soccer internationals?
Surely, this discriminates against football supporters,99.9% of whom are well behaved.
Do rugby fans never misbehave. Or is that people who follow football cannot be trusted to behave if they have access to alcohol?
I follow both sporting codes and I find this alcohol sales ban during soccer internationals offensive and insulting.
A steward in the bar area said it was a FIFA ruling.
But surely the FAI and the AVIVA security advisors can decide what's best for football supporters, not FIFA.
I have been at football games in Britain and on the Continent where I was able to purhcase alcoholic drinks within the grounds.

Nope, that's why there's no terraced area in the ground either, since FIFA has decided you can't have standing areas at internationals. If the FAI want to host a game outside the remit of FIFA, they can sell alcohol at it. When they host a game under FIFA's regulations, they do it under all of their regulations

They did, and that decision was that it is best for football supporters is to be a member of FIFA and to follow FIFA directives. Which is why they do.

    Alcohol isn't an entitlement!

FIFA regulations apply at soccer matches - and rightly so imo.
