Northside spin midweek

    Any people do regular spins midweek (preferably starting early in the morning) starting out Northside and heading north or south. Have been heading out to Tallaght recently to meet a group. Just handier to hook up with someone closer to home.

    I haven't previously raced so I'd put myself in A3 or A4 bracket. Would like to be averaging 30-32 (on flats anyway). Distance wise - whatever we could do in 2-4 hours.

    Check out swordscc.com they have a number of different spins and I'm sure there is one there to suit ya!

    The faster Swords spins are at the weekend though - tends to be leisure/vets spins midweek. It's worth checking out their website though, or posting something on their facebook page to see if you can drum up some support for more midweek spins.

    I head out some mornings for a 2 hour-ish on the way to work but I wouldn't be averaging 30 unless you were towing me! I'm currently averaging about 25 on a solo spin but I'll hopefully bring that up a bit.

    Just joined up with them. Looking for fast spins. Went out on a Sun racing spin 3 weeks ago and twas tough and managed to come off in The Naul. Had to head home. Not sure if I'd have lasted that pace but close enough to that level I hope. For various reasons I haven't been able to go out on Sundays since (including this and next week) so looking to get in midweek. Tough going out on my own all the time I find, particularly first half hour. Going through that city centre is just dangerous I find even taking it handy.
