    Hi all just a quick question, are u considered a permanent resident if you are in sponsored employment in OZ and is this PR good enough for your partner to get subclass 309 visa.

    No, sponsored = temporary.

    So what Visa would your partner need if you have been offered sponsored employment.

    Although ENS 856/121 is a sponsored but permanent visa.

    But when most people talk of sponsored on here it's 99% a 457
