Seanad Elections

    Hi all,

Contrary to the opinion of many I feel that the Seanad needs to be reformed and to become a legislation initiating and legislation blocking part of our parlimentary system.

I also feel that exceptional Senators should be allowed to serve in Cabinet.

To abolish this function to me would be a travesty.

I also feel that the Seanad should be a party free system and only independents should be eligible to run.

Please let me know your opinions on same!

Also, with regards to the upcoming Seanad elections I would really like to encourage any NUI Grads to vote for Senator Ronan Mullen.

Ronan is a genuine hard working politician, independent of party allegiances and wants to make a genuine difference in Irish politics which you can see from some of the comments from Ruhama, The Irish Hospice Foundation etc.

    Check out his website www.ronanmullen.ie

The Seanad elections do matter and please do vote and vote for real genuine people.

Before anyone asks, I am not Ronan and I am not related to him either.

I just think he is a good politician with whom I have dealt with in the past.

    Cheers,
