My son says some of his friends can get swap credit for their mobiles between each other. I think he's misunderstaning the "Lend" facility, but it would be handy if I could give some of my PAYG credit to him. Is this possible between two O2 accounts? I can't find anything on their site.

Maybe his friends are on Vodafone, Vodafone have an 'IOU' facility similar to O2s 'Lend Me', (i.e. they take it back next time you topup) but they also have 'IOU Buddy' which allows you to transfer credit between users.

FYI for Voddafone it's send a TXT to 50233 containing
    SEND <mobile_no> <amount>

O2 may have similar, but I've not seen it.

OK, yeah - that sounds like the syntax he said they used. Not much use to him or me though! I suppose he'll be asking to change networks now ...
