I got my teeth cleaned about 2mts ago, at the time the dentist said they may be sensitive for a little while and I should try this new Sensodine Rapid Relief toothpaste.
The sensitivity wasn't too bad but now i'm having nearly constant pain which can only be removed by using the toothpaste, i've went and got my teeth checked out and even xrayed and everything is ok with them.
I'm now in a position if I don't use the toothpaste very regularly I have serious sensitivity.

How do I ween myself off this toothpaste, it's really causing me problems.

Why not just keep using it?

I never had sensitive teeth, I do now after using this tootpaste for a while. My teeth are now hyper sensitive. I'm like a crack addict with sensodoyne, they ordinary sensoydine doesn't even work.

try half a teaspoon of salt dissolved in a glass of water, use to brush and to rinse - it got rid of my sensitivity fine - i use it all the time now

Interesting. I have to use it too most often and I too, for a while, thought it was aggravating the problem.

I tried one of those super bubble pastes and that seemed to do the trick, it did cause a severe reaction, almost numbness even, but thereafter I can use any paste but do use Sensodine regularly too.

What's the super bubble paste, what was the reaction? Wish I never went near sensodine it's definatley created a problem that now its needed regularly to fix.
