my friend had this issue over the weekend wondering what would AHers have done.

She is only living in her new house 2 weeks, she decided on a whim to have a birthday party for her 4 year old. Basically in the middle of the party a 9 year old living around the corner walked INTO her house and started eating food from the table.

She caught him and told him to leave and then his father came over screaming the odds, apparantly its normal for a 9 year old to walk into a party he wasnt invited to!!! never mind the fact he walked into her house without permission

A nine year old crashing a 4 year old's party?
They start so young... I blame the red lemonade and ricecrispie cakes.

Strange one, but if I had just moved to an area I would like to meet the locals and get off on the right foot so I would have let him stay and chat for a bit, give him a little goody bag and send him on his way.

the party was for a 4 year old- this kids 9- they will never be friends

She said if hed knocked at the door and asked could he join the party she might have let him stay, but the fact is he opened her gate , went to her house, opened her door, walked into the kitchen and started helping himself while everyone was singing happy birthday in the next room

Also she found it bazarre that the father didnt care that he had just walked in, his answer was "Your birthday partys teasing the other kids in the estate" HUH???

Your friend should walk into his kitchen and help herself to whatever she likes to look of.

Well TBH any AHer would do the same - if the sweets were actually alcohol. Random people's stuff is much nicer than your own:D

As a parent of four, I'd firstly tell the child to leave, then I'd tell the father to leave, as we don't wish to raise out kids on a basis that one can trespass on other peoples property without permission.
...And I would say that in those near words!

I've no time for that type of bullschite. And some dumb parents wonder why their kids are unrulely and running wild!
Maybe if they taught their brats a bit of manners...
    Assholes!

Sounds more like breaking and entering then :pac:

Still the child was only 9 - and if that's the done thing in the area then maybe he didn't see anything wrong with it.

The dad sounds like a bit of a tosser though, maybe the kid isn't properly minded during the day?

I would have left one of the adults incharge, went up stairs, filled the bowl of my bong with a large amount of skunk, hit said bong and then probably fall asleep for four or five hours.

    Or

I would have got real liquered up and put on an eagles cd (im assuming old people with kids and houses like the eagles(stupid old people). And then i would have started singing at the top of my lungs untile i needed a cigarette. Then i would have ordered chinese or pizza for myself. And finally i would have said something like"this party is ****,im going into town to get hammered with Niall and the lads".

    Or

Maybe just let the kid stay.....jesus what a Bitch.

What would you do if YOUR son was at home, crying all alone on the bedroom floor cuz he's hungry?

And the only way to feed him is to, sneak in a party and steal those b*tches sweeties and his dad's a knob

I hate you OP, that song is stuck in my head all day now

the cheeky little bollox. should have followed the father home and robbed some of his food then kicked him in the nuts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,246 ✭✭✭✭Dyr

Next time throw a couple of vodkas and orange into the little fcuker and send him on his way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,112 ✭✭✭flyton5

I'd claim to not have kids and say that the reason I had the party was to lure sexy kids in. Then tell the father of the 9yr old that the kid is too old, didn't pass the sexy test and that's why he had to leave. Problem solved...

    Cheek of the little fecker!

9 year olds arent stupid! Id say he knew what he was doing and just being a general little knob!!

Sounds like the kid learnt from the master..

Tell your friend not to give a crap. Who would associate with idiots like that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,699 ✭✭✭deathrider

Next time the kid comes around, keep him! Put him in a box, a cage, or even a cupboard. After three or four years, let him out and send him on his merry little way. There's a fine chance he'll have learned his lesson by then.

My dog would have eaten the nine year old long before I caught him.

That would give the father something to cry about.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,598 ✭✭✭✭prinz

Kick the kid out. Tell him if he wants to come in to go home and get a parent to call around with him and discuss it. Then tell the parent if the kid does anything like that again the gardaí will be involved.

Sounds like the da is an arse. Probably wasn't bothered to feed the boy and sent him round to the neighbours hoping they'd do it for him. Dirtbag.
