If legislation says that we need our pooper scoopers to scoop up our dogs poop from the footpath(otherwise a fine), then surely it should say something about Guardai's Horses Sh**ing all over Grafton Street's street?

Plus the fine should be x5 because the poo is 5 times bigger! Depending on the poo that is. sometimes it may be 10 times bigger.

    hypocrites?

You do know that gardai don't make the law? How can they be hypocrites if they have no say in the rule making?

I think you need more exclamation marks

Also I have never, nor have I ever seen a Garda giving a ticket for not scooping the poop, this usually comes from litter wardens.

Seeing as the poop is 5 times bigger, and you want fines to be 5 times bigger, I think you need 5 times the exclamation points to balance your argument out.

Horse waste is not a bio-hazard. Dog waste is, due to the fact that the diet of dogs is that of an omnivore.

    Multiple threads already on this.

i've lost count at how many times i've seen the 'rozzers' driving around while not wearing a seat belt, and on the phone at the same time!
now i know what they will tell us, 'oh we need to be able to get out of the car quickly to respond to a situation so undoing the seatbelt could waste valuable time', will the uniform stop them flying through the windscreen in a collision?
'and i'm on the phone discussing urgent police matters', you have radios for that you hypocritical a$$holes...

While poo as you put it, may be poo, They all don't carry the same bacteria. Dogs are known to have poo which contain bacteria which can be dangerous to humans, babies especially, who will not know not to ingest it. It's science....look it up

In fairness to you here, while you explain it poorly, as far as I'm aware, Garda horses like horses in police forces the world over are honourary members, so technically Gardai did cause the mess. Only it was Garda Shergar and Garda Beef or Salmon, instead of Garda Smith or Garda Jones.

I would love to sit by and watch you kick a horse up the arse. They're not known to be pleasant creatures when approached from behind.

Also I don't mean to be pedantic here (actually I do) but it's GARDAI not guardai. GARDA is written on every patrol car/van/jeep/station/uniform jacket/fleece in the country. A lot of people see it dozens of times a day and still can't spell it.

Sorry but this just grinds my gears.

its actually legal for humans to have a poo on the streets as it could cause toxic harm if kept in.

What makes you think those gardai are in control of the horses? Those horses belong on some ancient battlefield, pulling some unfortunate general to his honourable, if unwanted, death. My pet theory is that the horses are in charge and the gardai are simply going along in fear of what the horses will do to their families if they get off. Those horses can defecate wherever they want, just for the love of god don't anger them. Those horses know where you live.

Also, shouldn't this be in the Emergency Services forum for extra fun?
