    Want to put an oil tank into the ground
    Tanks are for sale here in ireland but want to know if its allowed here
    Know it is in the uk and n irl
    Cant find any regs about it and know calor gas is doing it now
    Dit ask it in heating and plumbing but didnt get a suitable answer

    Well no one might stop him but if it's in breach of building regs or some other planning or legal regulations he might have to dig it up and install an above ground tank at some point in the future.

    Well Calor are advertising underground LPG tanks now, so I can't see an oil tank being any different.
