Shower Pump Doesn't Stop After Shower

Hi guys have a problem with a Grundfos STP-3.0B shower pump. In a nutshell it continues to run after you’ve had a shower until you cycle the power to it.

I figured it was the flow switches but I phoned grundfos and they say no that if it was the pump would continually run whenever the power is on.

They reckon its air trapped in the system somewhere due to a blank etc. Now I do have a future shower in an unfinished bathroom blanked off but have had no problems for the past 2 years with the pump just recently.

In the absence of being able to free the airlock in the blanked section of pipework, would fitting non return valves help and where should these be fitted?

    thanks

    eddie
