    Any sufferers?

Recommendations on a possible cure or relief period?

I'm currently in a flair up stage and fed up hearing all the usually stuff, stop drinking & smoking, go on a sun holiday, sun beds, back to the GP for the hundred time to get more creams....

I'm interested to see if anyone has got any results from outside the norm. This one im particularity interested in: http://www.equilac.com/en/psoriasis-equilac/?gclid=COfKjIa7wKcCFdFX4QodQzDd_g

Could be yet another scam, but after hearing the same old stuff for years Id be willing to give it a bash...

I don't suffer with psoriasis, so this is not coming from any personal experience, but recently while checking out the benefits of Coconut Oil in the diet, quite a lot of the articles mentioned it helping with dry skin, psoriasis along with many other benefits.

It can be found in Dunnes Stores, usually beside the cooking oils and in my local store costs I think €4.79 for a 450g tub and I am sure that health food stores would also sell it.

I now cook with it, take a couple of spoonfulls daily also and sometiems use it as a lotion after a shower. It makes your skin nice and soft and it smells great :)

It maight be worth doing some research to see what you think. And if you decided to try it, it is not that expensive and it is a natural product.

    Just my 2 cents worth

**Edit** Here is a link to somones experience with treating their psoriasis with coconut oil.

+1 on the Coconut Oil, my fella and his 2 brothers have Eczema and find the Oil gives them ease and relief, also try looking into Krill Oil, it contains Omega 3 and antioxidants, Lecithin is also a help, if ur taking Vitamin E, check your dosage, you should be taking between 200/800 iu daily, oh and a mix of Wheatgerm oil and Calendula oil is great too for relief...:)

What works for one person may not work for you.We cannot give any type of medical advice here.If you are disillusioned with your GP then maybe consider getting a consultation with a specialist dermatoligist, thread closed.
