    Album's here: http://www.npr.org/player/v2/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islist=false&id=136465054&m=136462476

Only had it on in the background, but I like it - very different sound, but it seems like a fairly successful experimentation.

    I'm liking it a lot.

Two listens in and I'm a fan. Some very catchy tunes on it.

Really liking the new album, they did a great job on Storytellers too.

Was away while the album leaked.. so only got to listen to the first half of it today in the car.

But I REALLY liked what I heard... 'Home Is A Fire' is a superb little song. Love the key change for the chorus.

Also picked up the audio CD of the newly released Live In Mt Baker Theatre concert for the car too. Footage of the gig is getting it's premiere tomorrow night and a DVD released thereafter - see here!

After a couple more listens, I'm loving this album.

But I do think the first half is FAR stronger than the second half.

The first 5 songs are belters to be honest!

Have to say I'm a big fan and it's a really, really good album. Some seriously good tunes on it.

Also loving the live album as well.

Agree that the first half of the album is much stronger. Not mad on it at all.

Still, hurry up and come back to Ireland ffs

Not a huge fan of the live album to be honest.... a couple of songs (e.g 'The Sound Of Settling') sound very VERY limp!

Anyone else seriously think 'Home Is A Fire' would belong on a new album by 'The Postal Service'?

Fair fecks to Death Cab.. they've really gone a new direction here - and while it's dividing fans, I think it's the freshest they've sounded in years.

    Spot on.

I didn't think much of Narrow Stairs at all in fact I don't think I've listened to it in well over a year. This one is as good as they have ever been, albeit in a different way.
