Just looking for advice on pricing for kitchen sink tap or taps.
The tap I have is leaking at the base and is due to be changed.
    I am in Dublin,Malahide area.
Can anybody suggest where to buy a kitched tap and how much I should be paying for it? Also, can I fit it myself (not really a DIY specialist) or do I need a plumber to fit it?

On another issue, how much should I be paying a plumber to fit a dishwasher in my kitchen?

    Thanks in advance.

the tap could just be a rubber washer that needs to be replaced.
    as for the dishwasher,
if i was living near you I would fit it for a cup of tea.
as for the prices, it depends on the tap, some of the fancy ones cost a fortune.

IKEA have HUGE range from small money to €100+

Dishwasher extremely easy to fit - attach hose to pipe fixture and plug in. (not like years ago)

If you do want a plumber to do it, look to see what else is needed - outside tap, easier to locate shut down valve, radiators to be bled etc.

One standard fee would cover a few small things together.
