    Hi all,

I was in Dublin on Friday and used the Eflow toll - I'm not from Dublin and this was my first time using it, and I'm not registered with the tagging system or anything.

I totally forgot to pay it online by the 8pm deadline the next day.

Anyone know how much this is likely to cost me now for a late payment?

I went through the toll on the way to and from IKEA.

How much is it for a return trip when you don't pay on time?

    Thanks!

I assume your driving a normal car, if so then it is going to cost you €3 each way normally. As your late they double it, so you are going to get a fine in the post for €12

Bring it to a shop with a payzone machine and they can scan the fine for you and you can pay it there and get a receipt etc.

    Cheers for that, appreciate it!

So do I have to wait for a bill to come in post before I can pay it? I can't pay it online now?

you can ring them and pay afaik, but I'd recommend waiting until the bill comes out (it goes to the adress the car is registed to of course), that way you can pay it an be sure its dealt with, I've seen a lot of bigger bills show up for fines that people thought they had paid over the phone!

I'm not saying don't trust their system, but dont (under any circumstances) trust their system !

    :)

If you ring them today & ask to register for a video account, they will change the cost back to €2.50. Account cost nothing & any subsequent journeys will cost the same

But I assume you have to prepay some amount of money.
    Am I right?

No need to pre-pay. You have 2 options:

    1. Pre-pay a certain amount (no good for me as I dont use it enough); or

    2. Provide them with direct debit/card details and you are billed monthly in arrears.

Have mine up & running now with no issues. I'm surprised EFlow dont push this option more

I rarely use the m50, but used it for the first time in 3 years yesterday, took 7 mins to pay on the mobile with their voice recognition on the 1890 number

    The call cost €2.41.

    Total cost €5.41

You can also pay online through their website. Had to do it for the old fella the day before yesterday.
