Thanks Lemmings ,me wants one ,wasnt expecting it to be so light ,or to be V2 internals hardly going to be spraying 20,000bbs a game , do you think the commando will be a one off variant

    (expensive future build)

The v2 gearbox should hold up just fine. Support guns aren't meant to be used as BB hoses anyway (even with v3 gearboxes). Short, sustained bursts rather than "lets see if I can empty the magazine in under 1 minute" ...

Your guess is as good as mine as to whether or not this will be a one off variant. The real deal was modular, the airsoft version isn't, so another variant would mean additional work to the body and not just "plug n'play".

    Nice review.

Could help notice there was no run of the mill support gun " Bipod"

Is this a support gun in the normal sense, or a assault rifle with a bigger punch. ( confused since it's weighing it at the same as a rifle)

Never even heard of one until I saw that review, but it looks pretty nice :)

Whilst a bipod was available, you'll see a lot of pictures of SEALs from the Vietnam war without bipods attached. Any picture I've ever seen of a Stoner has been the LMG variant with either carbine/long barrel, carry handle (think Bren gun) and either the drum or box mag.

Weight-wise, the real deal was lightweight (hence part of its appeal) and pioneered the use of plastic containers for holding belts of ammo in order to shave some weight off.

The gun is basically a carbine support-gun. It's light, and it's small, making it very maneuverable.

I'd say your chuffed, I remember holding your M60 in Berget while you got something out of your bag, and I nearly keeled over
