    greens are always good. but how could you give it ten out ten! its hardly.a championship course

    If you give Callan a 10 out of 10 then what would Augusta be? 10 / 10 too...
    so Callan ≡ Augusta.

    Personally, I really don't like the place. I think the routing may have changed since but it was off to a bad start for me when you teed it up on the 2nd tee and had to hit over the first green with an internal OOB on the right if you ended up on the first... so as you were playing the very first hole, you had a fighting chance of getting a smack of a ball...
    Usually I like to be well warmed up into a round before I take on that risk :rolleyes:
    There was a par 3 over water which was interesting to play because of the shallow green portion (front left) over a well defined hazard but it looked really out of place (fountain?) and unnatural in my opinion.

    Totally agree, it seems they spent alot of cash on that par 3, considering you could be flicking a wedge sometimes.

    That second hole is crazy, second drive of the day -block right needed!

    i have lost alot of balls on that second.every time i step up 2 that tee i think its going to go right.easy hole if the drive is straight tho

    Haven't played Callan in a few years but its a nice course enjoyable but nothing spectacular.
