Transform me!

Looking for a little advice on my style.

I'm 5 ft 7, turning 21 this month, slim build with a small chest and long legs. I'm quite pale and my hair is blonde.

I'm trying to reinvent myself a little, I find myself unable to strike a balance between my teenagery clothes and a more spohisticated look. :rolleyes:

I'm open to any suggestions to reinvent me, I wear heels or flats, quite into dresses and skirts, the only thing I wouldn't be keen on is creamy coloured clothes as the colours wash me out

I'm aware that someone I'd quite like to impress is much more clued into fashion and what suits people than most men and I wanna impress

Of course I just want to experiment with new styles and shapes and outfits I mightnt have considered before, hence wanting then help

My style sounds similar to yours, Well you like dresses and skirts? Basically it's easy enough to dress them up with accessories and a killer pair of heels, Putting your hair in a bun instantly gives you a more sophisticated look, I think these are great and age appropriate. Best of luck!

Those are really nice. Never really considered a long dress like those for a day time look.

Funny you mention a bun because I never do up do's but they've been on my mind recently. Thanks for the ideas

I think it would look great and emphasize your long legs. Remember ot keep wearing what you like though and don't lose your individual sense of style, Have a look at Dorothy Perkins and Mina great stuff there at the moment!

I think you should emphasis that milky pale skin with jet black hair and go all goth.

sounds like you're very lucky in the natural appearance department!

style isn't just about what you wear but the way you wear it, so you could try some other simple changes to boost your confidence as well as make you feel stylish. maybe try a new hairstyle (just an upstyle if you don't want to commit to a cut). think fishtail plaits and messy buns. or you could try a different makeup style. if you can find the right shade, a red lipstick is always trendy and once you're brave enough to wear it the first time it's an instant confidence booster.

you could look for dresses that can be dressed up/down depending on how casual/fancy you want to be. something like this would look great with a chunky knit or crochet cardigan and some pumps or brogues for daytime or styled up with accessories and deadly wedges for evening.

have you considered playsuits or jumpsuits? sounds like they might really suit your shape. they're that little bit different and unusual but just as easy to wear as dresses.
