I have moved in to a new home with gas heating, I had 500lt put into d tank on the 4th of Feb,I checked the gauge of the tank after it was filled and it was reading 37%, it is now at about 15%, It is a 4bed detached home, the heating is on for 3hrs every evening maybe 4hrs some days but it is set for 3hrs and heat the water for 1.5hr a day, and use the gas for cooking

I am working out at this rate I will need a fill again at the end of the month at about 380 euro a half fill which imo is a lot of gas been used but is this the case?

    Anyone help please

If you have no heating controls to control the boiler you would use a lot of gas, and the fact that you cook with it too. Also you would use more energy heating a house from cold rather than heating a warm house to the desired temp. How old is the house and is it insulated?

House is only 10yrs old and there is a gauge for the tempature which I have set at half way, but nearly 400 for 2 month cant be right, we don't use it that much

Then you will have call someone in to do a soundness test on the gas pipe to eliminate ant leaks, Also the boiler could be oversized, It's hard so say on the net.
