I failed one exam in semester one and I'm expecting to fail 2 this semester. One of the modules has to be repeated next year I think. I'm hoping I'll be able to pass at least one of the other exams in August and go on into second year.
So to get into second year i can have 2 fails max. To get my grant for next year do i need 2 fails max by may or if i pass in the repeats can I still get my grant?

The local authority don't care how many fails or repeats you have or when you take them. If you go into 2nd year your grant goes with you. If you don't progress - no grant.
