V845 Button Faulty

I have a Vodafone v845 for a couple of months now, the button in the center (select enter?) has gone faulty, It gets a life of its own and starts selecting things on the screen and then doesn't allow the touch screen to select anything. Does anyone know how I could disable the button completely? If not I'll have to return…

Does anyone know how I could disable the button completely? If not I'll have to return it. I have tried a couple of different ROMs, but it is still the same.
