If I want to buy new Ram for my laptop where is the best place to buy it, is there just a standard type or RAM for Sony or is there different 'brands' at different prices or is there an industry standard or is there a known brand that is the best?

    thanks

Try ebay! Just use the model of your laptop in your search and 1gb or 2gb whichever is relevant. :D

memoryc.com are good. They have a memory configurator if you are unsure and free delivery.

Yeah, MemoryC is go for - as the title might suggest - anything memory-like. Amazon(.co.uk) is also an option.
