Saorview TV3 Supposed to be that Pixelated/Low-Res?

I tuned in my parents new tv this weekend in South Galway and they're very happy with 1,2,4 and the News but TV3 looks like we're watching it on RTE Player or something, its not unwatchable but its noticeable, especially compared to how good 2 looks, is that normal? They have perfect analogue reception.
