Anyone have any ideas about the Daewoo Korando. Lookin for something a bit more modern than my fourtrak for horsebox and hill walking with the dog. Any thoughts gratefully received. Cheers

Yeah, that G Wagen is a seriously good job but as was said slightly over the ol budget. Picked up a slightly battered but very tight Fourtrak for €700. Wanted it for parts for my own one but I'm using in now because it drives way better although it looks rough.
You just can kill Fourtraks. Very underrated except by people who have had them. I'm on number 5:D

Fourtraks are awesome, got a minter with 39k as a trade in years ago, basic but brilliant, they're popular enough in the uk, It's what the land cruiser would've evolved into if they hadn't gone discovery chasing.

I knew there were more people out there who don't care what the badge says as long as the 4wd works. Things like mussos fourtraks and korandos get looked over because the badge isnt "cool" when they represent good value in an often over priced market. As i said my €700 trak isn't pretty but is well able to tow a double horsebox fully loaded and cross the same country as my mates 07 hilux. But your right don't tell anyone lets keep it our secret!!!!;););)

Indeed. The view out through the windscreen is surprisingly similar to that from a (insert favourite car name here) though.
