maybe its switched off, some laptops have on,off wifi tiny switch ,at front, or side of the case, its easy to knock it off by accident.or go to control panel, networks, network connections, wireless, is it enabled.

You might need to enable it in Device Manager - open Control Panel, Device Manager, then click on 'Network Adapters' and make sure that the WI-Fi adapter is enabled.

If the Wi-Fi adapter is not listed in Device Manager then you'll need to open the BIOS management screen to enable it if it isn't broken, how you do that depends on the model.
