ITV News at Ten tonight - the 75th anniversary of the first flight of the Spitfire - yawn.

I always thought that Sky News had a monopoly on this rubbish, obviously the heads in ITN think they should get on the bandwagon.

Not actually WW2 then, its the anniversary of an iconic aircrafts first flight.

This might make you feel better, the last operational flight by a Spitfire was by the Irish Air corps in 1961, twas a Supermarine Spitfire T.9.
