    I was wondering if anyone here could shed some light in a what looked like a huge fireball in the sky about 20 minutes ago?

    Sorry guys, it was (or seemed) near Castleknock heading in a southerly direction, I think.

    A sky fire lantern? Just by the sound of that it gives a good description of what I saw.
