I have heard, especially in Dublin that the amount of car parts like wing mirrors, aerials, hub caps even alloy nut covers and now fuel syphoning is being coming a major problem!

With gutty's having the nerve to get a taxi to the address of the car with CCTV, and stealing the mirrors.

BMW and Merc's seem to be the main targets for wing mirrors, as a pair of BMW mirrors can cost up to 1200 quid to replace!

It maybe time to clean out that garage if you are lucky to have one or have'nt converted it to an extra room, and put your car in it!

There was a pile of Bimmers being robbed of their airbags aswell a few months ago. No damage done only the bags nicked...

A guy in my locality had a part (can't remember exactly what part) of the engine stolen from his vintage tractor. Said it would have been faster and easier to steal the whole thing!

A couple of weeks ago I filled up my car and then only a couple of days later, it was only half full and Ive no idea what happened. I didnt do enough driving to justify it. Is it possible this happened to me or is there an other good explanation? Ive a diesel car.
