I'm just wondering, do people who create their own websites and make a lot of money from them, as well as celebrities, have to pay taxes? I don't understand tax fully(I'm just a student) but I know that the more you earn the more tax you pay, and it's quite a lot to pay! So how do people earning millions a year pay taxes? Do they reduce their tax by donating to charity and stuff?

High earners normally reduce their tax bill by investing in tax schemes that shelter their Income. However following some recent Finance Acts the use of these reliefs is some what restricted.

Some of them also play about with their residency status ensuring they are not resident in high tax countries.
