Couch to 10K.

    So, I've signed up for the Flora mini marathon in June, and my aim, if possible is to jog the 10k, or at least most of it. I've been working out for the past 8 weeks or so and I've just finished my fifth week of Bootcamp. Bootcamp has brought my fitness up much more than I'd have done on my own.

    I downloaded the couch to 10K app on my iphone and started on week 4 (of 13), as I can run 2 minutes. It's tough enough, but i can do it.

    I know a lot of people here have done or are doing the Couch to 5K program and I'm just wondering has anybody done couch to 5K successfully without preceding it with Couch to 5K? Would i be better off doing Couch to 5K and seeing how far I can build after that?

    Hey Melissa,

    I've had a few friends do the Flora Mini Marathon with a similar level of preparation as yourself. You should be fine! You didn't happen to do the bootcamp fitness assessment today by any chance, did you?
