You can do it. Click here, browse for your picture and select what size you want it to be. Click the resize button and when it's done, click to save on your computer

And to host it for free (instead of using a boards.ie attachment) click here

Nice one - specialises in Classics?

There's plenty of painters / panel beaters knocking around but all they seem interested in is insurance jobs on Corollas and Avensii!

Good to find someone who is interested in taking the time to work on a classic!

He mightn't do them for other people but like everything else in Ireland everybody's not turning away as much work as they used to.

And before you ask i can't disclose the price

That's opposite the skoda dealer? If so I'd say he only did a good job coz he knows you. I had a car done there before, biggest f*ck up ever done to it ... they could not even put a badge on straight ... when i complained he said it was meant to be like that and bull****ted me ... then they faked my satisfaction note for the insurance ...

i sure hope it was a different crowd.

Nope Same "crowd" using him for 20 years, it can be down to the way people are handled, cajoled, and managed, I know a thing or two about this.

Would have no prob giving Paul an 08 S-Class either.

Don't ask me; have a look at the 30 or so cars that are finished there every week and parked up outside that can be inspected discreetly.

Let that be the Judge for now.

Sorry that you weren't happy with your repair, but using my money he's great for me.

no problems here, i'm glad you're happy and that your work was done well :)

i honestly could not recommend him, and i was very polite with them, they just did a sh1t job, was not that i was expecting too much, they just were not assed.

I did look at the cars parked up and they were ok (did not look closely back then), but i was not sure if they were finished or not.

it's possible that their thought is if it a 2010 big merc, they'll do a good job, if it's a 05 merc, they'll but half the effort and if it is a ten year old car, you're lucky it driving.
it's also possible i notice flaws in work and expect it to be right and will check, but in my case the dent was not fully removed, the paint had blemishes (he claimed a polish would take it out) and the trim was not put in correctly ....

but the main point would be the fraud with the satisfaction note that they doctored ... they knew their work was crap, so they doctored the note and claimed for it when they meant to be organising sorting fixing it. i found them really hard to talk to, so i just gave up and left it, otherwise i would have hit the condescending guy.

I still have a copy of the original note and the doctored one they sent in to the insurance company. That is fraud.

I'd have to say use at your own risk, but i guess if you know the guy he won't screw you. for others, don't say that i did not warn you.

damn right, he's not worth it.
i thought he was an idiot who could not do a job and left it at that.
had i know he was just a smart ass, i would have brought him to court over the fraud.

I'm guessing he is a friend of yours though, for him to give you a good price and then actually do a good job?
