    We used to catch new lads in the factors I worked in with that, "get plugs for 92 diesel Corolla there will ya", or "see do we have a water pump for an old Beetle" :pac:

    Mechanics would catch is too though, lashing hot spark plugs or pads on the counter, "some of them", bastads :pac:

    That guy is pretty famous in a number of forums.

    He strangely recorded himself "knocking one off" onto the bonnet of his Maestro to show how much he loved the car and then posted the video on the owners forum.....

    Friend of mine went to see an Alfa 156 in Limerick a couple of weeks ago. Owner (who claimed to own it for 7 or 8 months but actually only had it 3 weeks) said that the belt was done (it wasn't), the clutch had been done (it wasn't) and that the reason the engine was running rough was that it needed a replacement spark plug. In fact it was tippexed on the engine cover just to prove it - not by the seller, you understand, but by her mechanic....:confused:
