I would like some advice from someone who may have been in a similar situation. I recently done some work for a customer but they are disputing the quality of finish. I have had 2 independent tradesmen look at it and they said it was fine. Customer sent me a letter saying they were getting another tradesman to put it right and would deduct this cost from what is owed to me. What can I do? where do i stand in the eyes of the law? any advice would be really appreciated

    thanks

What you can do is go to a solicitor. The information you are asking for is against the charter.

I would seriously recommend going to a solicitor. A solicitor should be able to give you a clear answer of what could happen the customer was to do this.
