Started well and took the foot off the gas ,let treviso back into it but we are back in action again.
Had a chance with a penalty to kick the corner and go for the bonus point try and goes for the sticks, missed.our lineout is great all night so why didn't we go for the line?
Very frustrating stuff but we are winning!!!

Treviso have shown themselves to be tricky when they turn up, I'd take the close win lads tbh.

Should have been a BP win for Connacht tonight, we need to be more ruthless and close out games better. Still, 4 points, up to 30 from 16 games, better than our 26 from 18 last year! 8th in the table :D

I don't blame us for going for the kick at 31-18, if Keatley had knocked it over like he had been doing up to that point all night, it would have left Treviso with nothing to play for and still 10 mins approx on the clock to get the bp. I hope we don't regret our 2nd half effort, we got lucky with Tuohy's try tbh, after that it was scrappy, poor handling, ill discipline, just glad we held out in the end. 2 poor tries for them in the first half, first one in particular.

A frustrating night but still we won and climbed two places. We need to try and get a more consistent 80 min performance next week for Aironi, they are improving with every week. Still a win there will open a bit of a gap on those below us and put us in a great position to challenge Dragons for 7th.

I know it is annoying to say it but "a win is a win" I really enjoyed tonight, there was a good crowd and good atmosphere!

Connacht now above scots and italians. Staying there would be a good result

3 very winnable games ahead then three toughies.

  • Bonus Point would've been huge, and definitely there for the taking.

Strange evening of rugby all round tbh, same could be said in the other two Irish games.

Connacht need to keep this momentum going, keep the attendances high and the mood high. A good finish to the season will see a good start to the next imo.

good win, but I think we should have kicked for the corner an not for the posts at 31-18. Missed the penalty and the confidence dwindled.
