Disabling alarm on 1991 Space Wagon

    Hi,

    My Dad has just hauled out an old Space Wagon thats been lying around at home for over 10 years. He has no problem opening the doors, getting it running etc but as soon as he turns the ignition he gets a loud alarm type sound. He disabled the hooter to no avail and thinks there might be a switch to disable the alarm somewhere under the bonnet but he's not sure.

    Any ideas?

    usually there's an override key that comes with the car keys to disable the alarm.

    He was lucky to find the ignition key!
    No sign of that so any other ideas?
