I've been looking for info on licencing, hopefully someone here can help. At the moment I have a full drivers licence with the B and W catagories stamped, it was issued Jan 07. I'm planning on picking up a scooter/moped for nipping in and out of work. Do i need to do a theory test for the licence M catagory as I beleive…

You will need to do the Theory test, mandatory CBT and then you will be issued with your license. At that stage its worth you while picking up a full A with a 250cc. If you had held your license from mid 2006 I think you would have been issued with a M license as well.
