I'm going to put my head on the block here and make a statement that will probably come back and haunt me, but I really think that Ken is going to have a really good finish to the season. He only has two events left the China Open where he plays Graeme Dott and the Worlds where he plays possibly Tony Drago to qualify.

I watched his last match to qualify for China in the academy last week, he beat the young Thai player Issara 5-0, it was the standard of play that impressed me, he played solid and should have had a max only to miss the last red.

This week he's been practicing with Joe Swail and again he seems to be hitting the ball very well.

Currently provisionally ranked at 24, if he reaches the quarters in China and the quarters in Sheffield he will be back in the top 16.

But then again with my luck I've probably jinxed him for the rest of the season!!

Here's hoping anyway zack. These tournements are way more interesting when Ken's competing. I heard him talking of retirement a while back, I really hope he's decided against it for the foreseeable. I still think he's got a few more big wins left. Come on Ken, just one more World Championship!

Would love to see him back in the top 16, and I think with his presenting job on the bbc over the last few seasons, he'd be a popular player and would have a lot of support.
