Not sure if I have the right thread, hopefull a mod can move if necessary.

Came across some old farm machinary while clearing a shed and looking for some info on what to do with them.

The first is an old seed drill (I think that's the correct name) Surprisingly good condition, nothing seized, all linkages and wheels seem to move freely. Even timber making up the seed box on top is perfect.

Would be a shame to even consider sending it to the scrap heap.

    Images attached.

Second one is a old mower.

Haven't a clue if people even bother with these but here it is anyway.

You could post these pictures in the 4x4 & Tractors & Diggers & Plant forum too. I'm sure the lads over there would also be interested.

    hi there,

good pics and nice to see the old stuff in good nick

the first item is as you said, a seed drill, and it looks to be in great nick and all there

the second and third items are horse drawn mowing bars, you can tell by the heavy iron landdrive wheels

there always seems to be an interest in the likes of these with vintage clubs and societies

where in the country are you?

and,as you said-NO WAY should these go to the scrap heap
