Thinking of getting my tractor sprayed as the mudguards are starting to get very rusty and needs a tidy up in general. It is a case 1490 , what would be a good price for the job ?

I just brought a case 5150 with rusted mudguards found on the net that its a problem with the case maxxum of the mid 90s
There is a place in the England that sells fiberglass mudguards around £170 each piece but each mudguard comes in a few pieces so it depends on how rusted they are
I think I will have a go myself with some fiberglass fillers and a spray gun or else get a metal fabricator to patch them up an spray them up
Without knowing how bad yours are the could cost from 50 euro DIY job to 1000s if you went with new orignal case parts and main dealer to do it
probably a few hunderd if you get someone handy with metal to repair and spray

how long is a piece of string?

really depends how much rust there is, how much can be patched, how much needs new parts. how far you want to go.

tractor paint is cheap, it's all the work before you paint that costs the real money.
