Sports bra recommendation?

Didn't know quite where to post this but I figured this forum was the most appropriate seeing as how the female users here should be able to help me out.

I'm looking to invest in a really good sports bra, mostly for running, so it needs to be designed for high impact. I'm 32E so I need a lot of support - the sports bras from Penneys just aren't cutting it anymore!

I've heard mixed reviews of the Shock Absorber bras - are these worth investing in or is there something better? Also my preference would be to purchase online due to time constraints but am I better off going somewhere to try on a sports bra before I buy it?

    Thanks everyone.

There have been a few similar threads lately, you should find them if you do a wee search.

I find the Shock Absorber brand great, and you can get varying levels of support also - i.e. high/medium/low impact sports. I think you'd be best trying them on first, as they have a few different styles and I found that some seemed to fit better than others.

I'm a similar size to yourself - I'll be wearing a Shock Absorber B4490 for the Barcelona marathon this weekend. A lot of people like the Shock Absorber Run bra too (it involves quite a lot of gymnastics to get it on though). Slightly cheaper alternative would be the M&S extra high impact bras.

I'm at 34F - I just got a Freya sports bra http://www.freyalingerie.com/active.aspx in Arnotts. €42. I got it for running and I'm delighted.

The assistant had me try on 6 or 7 different types before I picked this (including one I had no chance of getting in and out of without help, because of the location of the clasps ).

My last sports bra had been from M & S, but this gives far better support, and there's no bounce!

im a 40e and i found the m+s one i have the best, its a pain to get in and out of but its the best one ive found so far, I honestly think its trial and error till you find the one that best suits you

I've got the Shock Absorber Run & once you get used to the clasps it's a great one.
The Enell brand is supposed to be great, not sure of stockists but you can buy it on figleaves.

I second the Freya one, 32DD and nothing moves when that baby is on. ;)

I have to say no contest here - I bought a shock absorber sports bra nd it was so uncomfortable for jogging - would never invest again. Then I bought a Freya sports online and I have to say it is brilliant! Highly recommend.

I find it difficult to find a bikini in my size 28G/30FF and recently came across an Irish website called Booby Cups and purchased a lovely bikini called Page!
I used to buy them in La Senza but that closed down a few months ago.

I couldn't envisage running without my Shock Absorber, although it takes a little getting used to
