my friends car battery was dead, so i assisted with jump leads. Connected + to + and - to -. A spark came out and when i started my car, it was also dead.
Double trouble. Brother arrived and managed to connect + to - on friends car and again nothing happened. We rectified the problem, connected + to + and - to -, started both cars. Mine was grand, but the friends battery appears to be completely shagged. Will start when jumped, but wont start on its own. And the radio wont work, and the steering is gone a bit dodgy also??

    Any suggestions??
