desire hd no sound

    Just noticed now when went watch YouTube video there's no sound coming out back speaker changed loads sound settings nothing. The speaker at front for calls is fine wtf?? Anyone ever had this problem with this phone ? It was fine other day.

    Have you tried using the volume up & down switches on the left hand side of the phone.

    There's a ringer volume, but when I play games it shows as "media volume".
    So just because you can hear your phone for calls, the media volume might be low/mute.

    I had the same problem with mine. Play some music, take off the back of your phone and hold your hand against the little speaker beside the camera. Dime sound might play with the pressure of your hand. Mine was a loose connection to the speaker. Didn't drop it or anything, just happened. Had to send it away for a week and a half to the UK to get it fixed. Perfect ever since.

    Just bring it into the shop you bought it in.

    Deffo a speaker issue has i checked everything on the even reset it incase was any settings gone wrong with my rom.

    Brought back into carphone warehouse early on feckin week or so with my auld Hero again :P Amazing the difference in both touch screens when i compare them again now. Desire hd is so much quicker to response even for txting feel like i have massive fingers or something lol.
