    Hi.

Are the welfare offices to send out a form advising you when to sign on?

I remember vaguely the 1st being mentioned...

Can I just sign on tomorrow?

Being blunt here but hopefully not obnoxious, not only were you given a particular date to sign on you were probably given a particular time frame, eg. 10am - 12 noon. or some-such. If you vaguely think it was the first of march, well it is now more or less the 3rd of march so you are vaguely 48 hours late to sign on already. if social protection vaguely stop your JSA/JSB this week as a result of your failure to sign on then you will be not very vague but very broke for the weekend, so i would take myself down to your local office at your earliest possible convenience tomorrow morning, apologise, and ask nicely to be allowed to sign. BTW if you search through the sweet wrappers and cigarette lighters in your jeans pockets you might come across one of the receipts you received at the PO when you picked up your SW payment.. Look closely at the bottom it tells you when your next signing day is. Magic! Last but not least , it mightnt be the best idea to suggest that the Dept. write out to you to remind you to sign on, i dont think you would get a very nice response...(450,000 letters every 3 weeks...imagine the postage...)

BTW, when you get your money from the post office, it'll say your next signing on date at the bottom of the receipt. Just don't worry about it for December/Jan, it always gets mucked up since you don't actually (normally, at least) sign on during one of those months.
