What should i do with my receeding hairline?

I have a fairly obvious recceding hair line, it is worsening by the month. Whats should i do shave it off, form a quiff, or keep it as it is with the messy look...

I currently get called cliff from the friends, i am quite emotional so go easy, thanks guys!

Cause you dont have hair follicles on the palms of your hands. Rogaine works, but not so well at the front and people rarely regrow hair in their temples once thats gone.
