Got one a couple of years ago. Use it mostly for cutting up pallets for kindling inside in the shed. Much better than choking on 2 stroke fumes. Don't think it's fit for felling trees but good for small jobs

Possibly also ask in the Gardening forum.

We've no experience with electric chainsaws, but Dad did get a Gardenline petrol saw from Aldi/Lidl.

Took me 90 minutes to break the mechanism that tensions the chain.

Bought one of these two years ago to cut an artic load of logs, thought it was fantastic. cut the whole load without being edged once, no messing with petrol or oil(only for the chain) you obviously have to be close to a power source.
